I got an email around Christmas from WordPress saying it had prepared a personalised report on how my blog did in 2014 which sounded very exciting! However, being around Christmas I didn’t have a chance to look at it until recently and it really made me smile!
In the 9 months since I started the blog it has had almost 5000 views and been seen in 72 countries! This really blew my mind, the internet is a crazy thing and when I started this little blog I had no idea that it would be seen around the world!
I can’t tell you how helpful it has been for me and my family – I really enjoy writing and I find it extremely cathartic at times – but the main thing is the people that have got in touch with us through it.
The advice and experiences of other parents in our situation as well as the first hand experiences of those who live with Lymphoedema themselves has been invaluable. It has helped us a lot on a number of occasions to reassure us that we are doing everything we should be as well as giving us wonderful advice when we needed a bit of guidance. To have built up these cyber friends across the world has made us feel less alone with this condition and we know we can get in touch with you guys at any time if we need help. I also hope we have been able to return the favour in some way as well.
I look forward to more blogging this year!
